Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info: name, email, password (hashed), cell phone, firm name, LSO licence number, address, photo, bio.
• Case info: court, courtroom, date, time, case type, agreed price, disposition, uploaded documents, optional client name (privileged), matter summary.
• Payment info: tokenized card on file via Stripe (we never store full card numbers); Stripe Connect account ID for agents; payout history.
• Usage: anonymous analytics via Google Analytics 4 (GA4 ID configured per site).

What is public

The directory and public agent profiles show: name, photo, firm, LSO number, bio, rates, average rating, and review comments. The public calendar shows: agent name, court, courtroom, date, and time.

What is private

Email and cell phone are never shown publicly. Client names, matter summaries, and uploaded documents are visible only to the requester and the assigned agent, and only after a card has been charged for the case (escrow). Direct booking happens through the platform; we do not share contact details outside of completed transactions.

Sharing with third parties

We use Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (DNS / WAF), and GA4 (analytics). We do not sell personal information. We disclose information when required by law.

Retention

Account, case, and payout records are retained for 7 years to satisfy Canadian tax recordkeeping requirements. Reviews remain visible until the agent’s account is closed or a review is removed by moderation.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your data at any time. Email [email protected] to request.

Cookies

We use a session cookie for authentication, a CSRF cookie for form security, and analytics cookies set by GA4. You may block them in your browser; some site features will stop working without the session cookie.
